While at the University of Arkansas, Collins solidified his reputation as a dynamic running back. 

He showcased his versatility, agility, and power, amassing over 1,000 rushing yards in his three seasons. 

Collins’ contributions were pivotal in elevating the Razorbacks’ offence and earning him All-SEC honours. His impressive college career led him to declare for the NFL Draft in 2016.

Alex Collins also excelled at the University of Arkansas, carrying over 1,000 yards in his three seasons. 

On the school’s career rushing chart, he is second only to Darren McFadden.

NFL and USFL Stints:

Alex Collins’ professional journey kicked off when the Seattle Seahawks selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. 

He quickly gained attention for his ability to break tackles, explosive bursts, and reliability as both a runner and a pass-catcher. 

Collins played for the Seahawks until 2017, when he was waived and later claimed by the Baltimore Ravens.

It was during his time with the Ravens that Collins truly flourished. In the 2017 season, he emerged as the team’s starting running back, recording 973 rushing yards and six touchdowns. 

His contributions played a significant role in helping the Ravens clinch a playoff spot that year. Unfortunately, injuries and a legal issue led to his release from the Ravens in 2019.

Despite the setback, Collins remained determined to continue his football career. Surprisingly, he joined the XFL’s Seattle Dragons in 2020, again showcasing his skills. 

His performances in the XFL garnered attention, and the Seattle Seahawks subsequently signed him for a brief stint.
